TKET

TKET

Thika Kiambu Evangelistic Team (TKET) is a student-led evangelism group that is part of the Main Campus Christian Union at University of Nairobi. Our core mission and purpose is to spread the good news and teachings of Jesus Christ both on campus and within local communities. We are committed to sharing God's love in practical ways and helping others experience a personal relationship with Him.

What areas do we cover?

While TKET started as a way to reach out to residents of Thika and Kiambu counties, our scope has expanded over the years which has led to national rebranding to form Triumph Kenya Evangelistic Team alias TKET National. We welcome any interested students regardless of their place of residence. Active members currently come from Nairobi, Thika, Kiambu and other parts of Kenya.

Our Activities

Some of the key outreach activities TKET has been involved in include:

  1. "Ah Gah Pay Mercy" Children's Home Annual Visit: We have been visiting this home in Thika on a yearly basis since 2008 to spend time with the children, do devotionals and donate items.
  2. Campus Outreach: Our members go around the university to engage students in conversations about faith and distribute Christian literature.
  3. Community Service Days: We identify needs in local communities and organize members to help out through activities like clean-ups, home repairs etc.
  4. Evangelistic Games: We organize fun interactive games centered around Christian teachings to engage children and youth.

If you would like to join our team in our mission to spread the gospel, kindly reach out to our Chairperson Ken Moses Thimba. Together, through God's grace and with your support, we hope to make an impact for His kingdom.
