The journey of integrity reinforced dates back to 2010. Probably you have heard about the Commission Conference organized by FOCUS (Fellowship of Christian Unions). If you have never attended one, then make a point of attending the next one, it is a life transforming experience.
I had purposed to attend Commission 2010 which I did after raising the registration fee from a few friends and family members. I know you are wondering how much this registration fee was, to the point of that involving friends and family members.
Well, it wasn’t more than four thousand shillings!

On the last night of the Commission Conference, there is always an intensive intercessory session as delegates await New Year celebration. Something happened.
God spoke to me!

How did I know it was God’s voice? How does God sound? I also don’t know. But he did speak to me as I was deep in prayer. God clearly engraved in my mind three visions and one of them was integrity reinforced. At one point, I thought these were prayer time distractions by Satan so i kept brushing them off. I remember rebuking the voice for distracting me in my prayer.
The thoughts/visions (let me put it that way for now) though, kept on coming boldly and clearly. The most surprising thing is that for every vision, I could see how it would begin and the end result. After 10 minutes of being in denial, I could not ignore this anymore. I paused, picked the Commission handbook and wrote down the three visions one of them being Integrity Reinforced.
Integrity Reinforced did not start immediately in 2011 as I expected. Human beings have the habit of sharing what they want to do in order to seek approval from others. I did not do that. I was appointed the Cream Coordinator 2011/2012 and that made me hold on for a while. What I did not know is that God was using this position to prepare me for the task ahead.
In 2012 after serving in the executive committee i did integrity reinforced take one. By God’s grace it was a success. God helped me do more and more until I cleared campus in 2013.
I.R aims at equipping campus students with values that they will hold on to even after campus. It is an opportunity to interact with people who are still in Christ no matter their status in the society. It is a call to unashamed discipleship in your area of work or specialization. That is why we bring people ranging from celebrities, politicians, pastors, C.E.Os. People in their line of calling who have a testimony and a sound relationship with God. Interacting with people who have stood for Christ in a secular and non-secular set-up, i believe, encourages people to stand for Christ.
The mother of integrity reinforced will forever remain to be Main Campus Christian Union-University of Nairobi. My desire is to reach out to as many college and university students as possible in Kenya and around the world.
Our theme verse: Titus 2:11-12 ‘For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say NO to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.’ (NIV)
Stand for integrity.

The writer is the founder and vision bearer of Integrity reinforced, I.R.
